Analysis of a rheological model of a Conveyor belt
The development of Conveyor belt systems is nowadays demanding for new mathematical models to analyze and predict the dynamical behavior or it under all possible loading conditions.Several visco-elastoplastic models have been previously introduced to integrate the characteristics of the rubber material of a belt conveyor.In the present paper an algorithm to determine the viscoelastic parameters of the GHM rheological model is analyzed by curve fitting the initial experimental data,and later applied to a system of equations for FEA.It is also intended to analyze the rbeological characteristics of the 5 element model (CDI(R)) and Kelvin model for a further comparison.
