Models in an Uncertain World
Global society continues to change at a furious rate.Different combinations of world leaders meet regularly to try to make sense of this change and the uncertainty it brings with it,and formulate plans to manage affairs within their own societies as well as internationally in the face of this uncertainty.Because of scheduled elections,leadership transitions and political unrest,the leaders who participate in one meeting may not return the next time.The pledges and guarantees oneleader makes may be negated by his or her successor.
