Object-Oriented Geoservices for Geoscientific Applications Based on 3D Geo-Database

摘要：

Requirements o n versatility,in teroperability,p ortability an d performance ofm obile an d distributed ge oservices are also t he need of 3 D an d 4 D ge o-databases i n a distributed and mobile environment.In this paper,we discuss object-oriented 3D geo-database services to be used in a mobile environment.Tests with large 3D geometry objects show the different performances of page-server and object-server based architectures.As ares ult,we can e fficiently manage a huge number of large and complex application-specific objects like 2D,3D and spatio-temporal models.
