Tobacco mosaic virus(TMV) can systemically infect the susceptible tobacco N.tabacum cv.Samsun nn.However some recombinant TMVs(rTMV) with coat protein(CP) fused to foreign peptides caused necrotic local lesions on the inoculated leaves of susceptible tobacco N.tabacum cv.
