Power Production Management of Three Gorges Project
Summary:The Three Gorges Hydropower Plant is the one with the largest installed capacity in the world today,and has a decisive and important influence upon the safety of the national power grids.Bold in blazing new trails through unremitting gropes,the China Yangtze Power Co.,Ltd.(CYPC for short) has realized the stable operation of the Three Gorges Hydropower Plant and brought the generating benefit into full play.In this paper,it summed up the objectives and principles of such kernel services as the power dispatch,operation and overhaul,as well as major means for their implementation,put forward new ideas and new methods for the plant management in the joint control of water and electricity,diagnostic operation and preventive maintenance for the cascaded power stations and accumulated experience in and provided lessons for the administration of oversized hydropower plants.
