The Theory and Application of Fault Travelling Waves
The paper firstly introduced concept of Fault travelling waves,then analyzed the mechanism of the generation and the propagation of fault travelling waves,and pointed out the problems and solving methods in the application of travelling waves.The paper also described the status quo of research and application in fault location,fault line selection and travelling waves-based-protection for transmission and distribution line.The paper tell us the travelling waves based fault detection technology is an important tool and developing direction in the future power system
