A Novel Model of Fast Propagation for Protocorm of Chinese Cymbidium
Fast propagation of protocorm is one of the most important methods for propagation of Chinese orchid.In this paper,a novel procedure using liquid-solid two-phase (culture) medium combined with rotation culture tables was developed for protocorm propagation of Chinese orchid.The result showed that the propagation rate of Protocorm is faster in a liquid-solid two-phase (culture) medium with rotation than that either in a single phase of solid or liquid medium,or an alternate culture between liquid and solid medium.The liquid-solid diphasic basic medium is:1/2MS+0.1-0.5BA+0～0.02NAA+0.1％ carbo activatus,pH=5.2-5.6.The rotational speed of shake table is 30-100 rpm.The temperature is between 24-26℃.
