Long-term change of nutrients and lake responses in Dianshan Lake, China
In an effort to conirol eutrophication and harmful algal bloom in Dianshan Lake,we analyzed 20-year data of nutrients ( total nitrogen (TN) and total phosphorus (TP) ) and lake responses ( chlorophyll a,transparency,” and algal compositions).The results indicated that trophic state of Dianshan Lake transited from eutrophic to hyper-eutrophic on 1999,and nutrient accumulation had been accelerated since the;.A better understanding of long-term data of nutrients and lake responses may help ecotechnology strategy development and successful lake restoration.
