Groundwater Recharge with Municipal Effluent in China

摘要：

In China the first groundwater recharge demonstration plant with reclaimed municipal wastewater was setup and devoted to operation in 2002 with a capacity of 500 m3/d in Beijing Gaobeidian WWTP.This paper summarized the results and experiences of one year period operation.The aquifer treatment contributed 40％ removal of the bulk organics in terms of DOC,COD,and UV254 absorbance.The recovered water quality meets requirements of non-potable purposes.
