关于文化素质教育与通识教育的辩证思考
(0) This paper discusses the place and role of general education in what is named and practiced in the Chinese university as ” cultural quality-oriented education”.Basing its arguments on a survey of cultural quality-oriented education and general education over the last ten yeas or so in a number of Chinese top universities,the paper argues that the two are complementary with each other,as general education facilitates a platform for conducting and promoting cultural quality-oriented education whereas the latter”s educating idea should be implemented in the operation of the former.The paper is consisted of five parts:1.the emergence and development of cultural quality-oriented education;2.the place and role of general education;3.the problems and challenges;4.what we can learn from the general educetion elsewhere;5.conclusion
