Technology Education in Secondary Schools in Singapore: Challenge of Creative Design
The economic miracle of Singapore is not really a miracle.The promotion and development of technology education is an example of a policy which has contributed to the rapid industrialization of Singapore.Therefore,Design and Technology curriculum (D&T) is introduced in secondary schools.With creativity and technology models permeating various educational domains,pedagogies and experiential learning and high order thinking skills,there is great challenge for the close association and emphasis between creativity,technology and D&T education as practiced in Singapore.
