Complete Nucleotide Sequences of a Chinese Isolate of Squash mosaic virus Reveal a Novel 5”Conserved Ends of Two Viral RNAs

摘要：

Squash mosaic virus is an important seed-borne and beetle transmitted comovirus infecting cucurbits in the world.The Chinese isolate SqMV-CH was acquired from an infected melon plant in Yun Cheng city,Shanxi Province,China during the investigation of cucurbit viruses in China in 1999.SqMV-CH produced stunting,leaf crinkling with an accompanying systemic leaf mosaic on its propogation squash host cv.Biyu ( Cucurbita pepo ).
