Various conditions,such as injury,surgery,inflammation,and scar diathesis,may lead to scars.Currently a number of methods are available to prevent and treat scars,including surgical removal,laser treatment,dermabrasion,steroid injections,medication,radiotherapy,and scar tension reduction.Nevertheless,the outcome of these treatments is often unsatisfactory,especially for scars oriented differently from the dermatoglyphs,or for scars and keloids with large size and high tension.
