Introduction:Keloid and hypertrophic scar,are two forms of pathologic scar resulting from abnormal responses to wounding.Compared to hypertrophic scar,keloid is more like a kind of benign dermal tumor.To explore the pathogenesis of keloid on gene expression level,we previously identified a eDNA corresponding to Thymosinβ4 (Tβ4/TMSB4)gene from the cDNA library of keloid and hypertrophic scar tissues using suppressive substractive hybridization.
