Objectives We assessed the impact of admission LDL-C levels on incidence of major adverse cardiovascular events(MACE)in patients with Acute ST segment elevation myocardial infarction(ASTEMI).Methods Patients admitted with ASTEMI and with lipid profile tested within 24 hours of symptom onset.501 patients with LDL-C above and 575 patients below the median level.
