Objectives The microRNAs(miRNAs)can posttranscriptionally regulate gene expression and heart development.Pax-8 gene knockout mice have apparent heart abnormalities.This study investigated the role of miRNAs in regulation of cardiac apoptosis and development in the knockout mice.
