Gainesville,FL 32Abstract:When there are many important covariates or prognostic factors in a clinical trial,stratified randomization becomes infeasible.To ensure balance over the covariates,several authors have proposed covariate-adaptive randomization procedures,which are especially appealing when there are pre-planned subgroup analyses involving the covariates.
