Novel fractal patch antenna with electromagnetically coupled line-fed
Two novel fractal patch antennas (antenna A and antenna B)with electromagnetically coupled line-fed is proposed in this paper.The fractal patch antennas are simulated by Ansoft HFSS 10.0.The simulation results show that the fractal patch antennas have many benefits compared to the reference electromagnetic coupled microstrip antenna.Antenna A and antenna B are capable of suppressing the higher harmonics to 5 dB,6 dB and decreasing the resonant frequency 21％,7％,respectively.And the gain of antenna A is improved 17％ compared with the reference electromagnetic coupled microstrip antenna.
