Sustainable development is ‘ development that meets the needs of the present world without compromising the ability of the future generations to meet their own needs’ Brundtland,1987.This is generally appreciated in terms a three legged stool with the legs as environmental,social and economic factors supporting the sustainability platform,or the balance between the intersection of the same three spheres of influence.
