Designer Oriented CAE Analysis in the Design of Washing Machines (Strength Analysis of Pulley)
It is important for designers to perform CAE analysis when they design parts, since it can reduce design mistakes and optimize the design.But the CAE Analysis may be limited by designers” CAE analysis ability.Therefore it is necessary that the CAE engineer makes the CAE analysis procedure for the designer, namely, designer oriented CAE analysis.In this paper, as an example providing one simple CAE analysis procedure for the designer in washing machines design process, the strength analysis of pulley was introduced, including model simplification, forces analysis, pressure calculation equation derivation, CAE analysis steps and result estimation.Designer oriented CAE analysis has good effects in products R&D.It is important for washing machines design and should be recommended.
