Performance Evaluation of Modified Cotton Denim Fabric
By ion modification, dye-uptake and dyeing rate of cotton denim fabric were greatly improved. Ion-modified cotton denim fabric was used as the object to test its tensile strength, tear strength, and color fastness. Compared to ordinary cotton denim fabric with the same specifications, the experimental results showed that the warping breaking and tear strength of ion-modified cotton denim fabric declined, and the breaking and tear strength of the weft side had little change. The results showed that ion-modified cotton denim fabric had good dyeing properties and using performance.
