Solexa sequencing of novel and differentially expressed microRNAs in testicular and ovarian tissues in Holstein cattle

摘要：

IntroductionThe posttranscriptional gene regulation mediated by microRNA plays an important role in the development and function of male and female reproductive organs and germ cells in mammals ”1-2”, including cattle ”3”, although the understanding of this regulatory process is very limited. The number of the known cattle miRNAs is continuously increasing, but information on miRNAs from bovine reproductive organs, such as testis and ovary, remains scant.
