Application of HLA Technology in Modeling and Simulation of the Material Support Logistics System

The materiel support logistics is a specific system established for materiel support, and is a multihierarchy massive system including lots of elements. Traditional logistics simulation system oriented to single research purpose and single simulation function is difficult to meet the demand of the materiel support logistics system for comprehensive, systemic research. To solve these problems, with the application of HLA (High Level Architecture) technology, the materiel support logistics system was modeled and simulated. At first, the architecture framework of the materiel support logistics system was analyzed, then based on which and combined FEDEP(Federation Development and Execution Process) and HLA, the simulation model of the logistics system was established, the federate function model of the simulation system was explored, the federate members was developed, the federate architecture model was established, and the federate execution process was designed, achieves efficient, accurate simulation for the materiel support logistics system execution process.
