The simulation study of interval type-2 fuzzy controller for the couple-tank water level system
For dealing with the existed large static error due to poor immunity problems of the traditional fuzzy control, a novel interval type-2 fuzzy control system is designed. By extending the typical membership functions to interval type-2 membership functions, the proposed control system can efficiently deal with the uncertain disturbance from real environment. Also the system design complexity is not increased. The simulation results on the water level control system show that the proposed method obtains the better static and dynamic control performances with stronger robust performance than the traditional fuzzy control system.
