Research on Multi-roller Contact Roller-gear Cam Mechanism with Elastic Links
This paper presents the multi-roller contact roller-gear cam reducer with elastic links. With the knowledge of the cantilever bending deformation in mechanics of materials as well as the finite element method, we analyzed the deformation of the roller pin. First, created a multi-roller engagement model and simplified its mechanical model as the uniform load loading at the free side of the cantilever. Then used the mechanical knowledge to analyze the bending deformation of the pin. Finally we built the pin-turntable 3D model and gave the Finite Element Analysis by UG NX7.0. Computational analysis shows that multi-roller contact can significantly improve the carrying capacity and the force circumstances.
