PROVIDING A BETTER TRANSPORTATION FOR REMOTE ATTRACTIONS:CASE STUDY BASED ON TRANSPORT AUDIT FOR THE PARE CWM DARRAN
This research is basically about inner and outer transportation system of a regional park named ”Pare Cwm Darran” in South Wales, UK. It is about how to organize a wonderful transport connection for a suburban or rural attraction, especially to provide a competitive public transport system for passengers. In order to reduce car trips, many measures need to be applied. The structure of this report is as following. First of all, the existing fundamental states including infrastructures, management and promotions, which are found from paper, online source, and field study are represented. Next, there are relative literature reviews about successful approaches and policies employed by other parks or tourist attractions. Then after that, details about drawbacks in every aspects are indicated and analyzed. Therefore, those reasonable recommendations and improvements could be suggested after carefully estimated. Overall, many lessons and experiences can be learned from this deep research.
