2-ETHYLHEXYL ALCoHoL DERIVED SURFACTANTS

摘要：

2-ethylhexanol iS an OXO alcohol available on the global market at competitive prices．It has not been explored intensively as a raw material for surfactants．For its relatively weak potential as a hydrophobe．However．Some further derivatisations make 2-ethylhexanol a valuable component of innovative surfactants．Which exhibit very interesting and unique interfacial activity．The work presents selected ways of derivatisation and exemplifications of some basic properties of the obtained 2-ethylhexyl alcohol based surfactants．
