Stochastic resonance in a driven over-damped linear system with trichotomous noise periodically modulated by bias signal
Stochastic resonance in an over-damped linear system with trichotomous noise periodically modulatedby bias signal is investigated. We obtain the exact expression of the first moment by using the Shapiro-Loginovformula. Then the nonmonotonic dependence of the output amplitude on the asymmetry degree, the switching rateand the value states of the trichotomous noise parameters are analyzed. It is proved that the stochastic resonanceexists in an over-damped linear system periodically modulated by bias signal subjected to trichotomous noise in abroad sense.
