Synchronization and Control in Networked Harmonic Oscillator Systems with Coupling Time Delays
In recent years, distributed coordinated problems in networked dynamicalmulti-agent systems in various fields of science and engineering can often berephrased as consensus or synchronization problems in which both the individualdynamics and the limited communication aspects play important roles ”1,2”. As aresult, there has been an increasing research interest in synchronization of coupleddynamical systems which can be regarded as the fundamental form of coordinationbehavior, and many profound theoretical results and synchronization criteria havebeen presented for different coupled oscillator systems ”1-4”. Recently, synchronization and control of coupled harmonic oscillators, which is a system withmultiple oscillators where each oscillator”s motion is coupled with or effected by themotion of the other oscillators, has been a significant topic in theoretical research andpractical applications ”2-4”.
