Qualitative analysis of phenolic acids in Blumea riparia DC. by high performance liquid chromatography with UV and liquidchromatography–mass spectrometry

16 phenolic acids and two flavonoids in Blumea riparia DC. were identified by LC-MS and LC-DAD, that is 5-O-caffeoylquinic acid, chlorogenic acid, 4-O-caffeoylquinic acid, caffeic acid, 1,3-O-dicaffeoylquinic acid, 3,4-O-dicaffeoylquinic acid, 4,5-O-dicaffeoylquinic acid, protocatechuic acid, 1,5-O-dicaffeoylquinic acid, 3,5-O-dicaffeoylquinic acid, two isomers feruolyquinic acid, three isomers caffeoylferuloylquinic acid, a trecaffeoylquinic acid, a dicaffeoylferuloylquinic acids and two flavonoids(mearnsetin-glu and isorhamnetin-glu). Among of 17 the compounds (except caffeic acid) were first report in Blumea riparia DC.
