Insight into IgG Fc N-glycosylation profiling with age, sex and correlation-associated analyses based on MALDI-FTICR MS data
Relative abundance of serum IgG Fc N-glycosylation was profiled by FTICR-MS with intermediate-pressure MALDI source, following micro-scale solid phase extraction (μSPE) enrichment for IgG glycopeptides. A total of 15 glycoforms were obtained from control individuals. The glycoform incidences were subjected to statistical analyses. Age- and sex-related alteration in IgG glycoform incidences was found as an inherent property of IgG Fc N-glycosylation. Besides, there were extensive correlations among IgG glycoforms.
