Simultaneous quantification of three β-casomorphins by Europium Labeling together with CE-ICP-MS detection

Here we report a method for the simultaneous quantification of three β- casomorphins by using metal chelate labeling and subsequently capillary zone electrophoresis with online inductively coupled plasma mass spectroscopic detection. The β-casomorphins are firstly derived by the bicyclic anhydride diethylenetri-amine-N,N,N′,N′′,N′′-pentaacetic acid (DTPA), and then subsequently are chelated with rare earth metal Europium (Eu).
