Synthesis of a Novel Electrochromic Material Viologen Incorporated with Poly-( 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)

摘要：

Electrochromismis defined as a reversible electromagnetic absorbance/transmittance change in response to an externally applied potential ”1”. Among the numerous electrochromic materials (ECMs) for organic systems, viologen has been extensively focused as cathodic electrochromic material ”2-4”; Poly-( 3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) and its derivatives have always been forerunners because of their ease of processing, ease of switching between two redox states.
