Synthesis and Structure of a New Dinuclear Robsen Ni (II) Complex
Many efforts have been addressed in the last decade to the design and synthesis of macrocycle or macrocyclic complexes and to study of their physico - chemical properties for magnetic material.1”3 Dinuclear Robsen complexes have excellent magnetic propertity for magnetic exchange of the two metals in the macrocyclic cojnpartmental ligand. Here we report the structure of a new dinuclear Robsen Ni (II) complex which is proposed to have good magnetic propertity. The macrocycle derived from condensation of 1, 2 - diphenylethanediamine and 2, 6-diformyl -4 -t- butylphenol (Scheme 1):
