Poly (lactic acid) / Poly (butylene adipate-co-terethphlate) Blends
Poly (lactic acid) (PLA) resins are well known as the biodegradable thermoplastics, which can be produced from renewable resources. However, their brittleness, slow crystallization and hydrolysis properties limit their usage in many applications. In fact, they are difficult for film-blowing or extrusion unless carefully controlling their moisture contents and processing conditions.
