EFFECTIVENESS AND EFFICIENCY OF SOLAR COLLECTORS: A CASE STUDY OF SOUTHERN CHINA HOTEL
The depletion of fossil fuels, escalation in energy price, increase in fuel demand and associated environmental pollution has recently activated the alarms of all nations. Many different sorts of energy-saving and environmental mitigation actions have thus been receiving more attention than before. Among these techniques, renewable energy as a gradual and partial replacement of fossil fuels emerges to be one of the promising and popular options. In recent two decades, solar radiation has been popularly converted into useful energy to heat up water for domestic or commercial use. The water thermal (water heating) energy systems have been appeal to manufacturers and users for its potential in large-scale solar water heating applications, its “zero green-gas emission”, very little operating and outlay cost plus energy saving.
