Affective Computing Research based on Active Field State Spaces

Actions expression is an important channel for human communication and can be applied in many real applications. One critical step for actions expression is to accurately analyze human emotional regulation process. Current approaches on actions expression in static emotional state have not fully considered and utilized the features of dynamic emotion transfer. Based on the OCC cognitive affection algorithm, this paper discusses the transfer process of affective states driven by the psychological energy and builds the affective model of active field state spaces. We here propose an affective computing method about HMM states transfer, and we apply the inductive algorithm to calculate the probability of the emotional states transfer. Compared with traditional algorithm, the amount of computing using inductive algorithm significantly reduced. The experimental results demonstrate the validity of the dynamic emotion regulation from emotional state set to emotional expression set.
