Endoscopic sinus surgery has been used routinely for treating sinusitis andpolyposis of the nasal cavities and paranasal sinuses. The concept of endoscopicsinus surgery can now be extended to treat benign and malignant tumours of the nasalcavities, paranasal sinuses and the anterior skull base.
