First Case of Acute Deceleration Injury Treated by Covering Stent: 10 Year Follow-up
A male patient aged 37 was hospitalized on April 16, 2001 because of a chest trauma. A week ago, the patient had a car collide which caused a chest trauma, he felt pain, choking sensation in the chest, and short of breath, accompanying with transient unconsciousness immediately after a car collision with another car driving opposite side. He was taken to a local hospital for emergency treatment. His body temperature was 36.5 X,, pulse rate was 80 beat/min, respiratory rate was 20 times/min and blood pressure was 120/80 mm Hg. On physical examinations, no significant signs were detected.
