Application of pyroelectric crystal to electron source of EPMA and ion beam
When a temperature change under a vacuum condition is applied to a pyroelectriccrystal such as lithium tantarate (LiTa03) and lithium niobate (LiNb03),anelectric field is produced due to uncompensated charges on the surface of thepyroelectric crystal.As a result.quite small amounts of suspended electrons and ionsin the condition are accelerated by the electric field.In the present study,applying thisproperty.
