An applicative analysis of some Chinese constructions

Among those constructions, the first has drawn a great deal of attention from generative researchers, notably Pan（1997）、Xu（1999，2001）、Han（2000）、Wen and Chen（2001）、Pan and Han(2005)、Zhu（2005）etc. but so far it has been difficult to reach a consensus. The second construction, which poses great challenge to generative grammar, was discussed at great length by Feng (2005). The third and last constructions, though typical of Chinese, have received scant attention.
