The Evolvement for Social Computing Research:A Bibliographic Analysis Perspective
This paper presents an overview of social computing research, which includs contributional literatures, influential authors and content map. More than5000 publications” bibliographic information from the SSCI and SCI databases (1994-2011) are analyzed.The key publications are identified by document cocitation patterns, and the influential authors are also identified by clustering the co-cited authorship patterns.The analysis of content map is based on keywords co-word patterns. This information is visualized by CiteSpace,and HistCite is used to analyse some statistics information. This information could help new comer to access the research communities quickly.
