Numerical research of material effect on piston supported super-detonaiton
super-detonation with higher detonation pressure, velocity and local sound velocity is paid more attention for its potential application for hyper-velocity launch technique. Multi-stage detonation acceleration system takes advantage of strong detonation to accelerate flyer to high velocity. In this paper, numerical simulation is done for the research on effects of materials of flyers on the propagation property of piston-supported detonation to find the best one which could be used as the material of flyers in the multi-stage detonation system.
