Early Second-Trimester Serum MiRNA Profiling Predict Gestational Diabetes Meilitus
To systematically assess whether theseB,lm microRNAs(miRNAs)profiling Call predictgestational diabetes mellitus(GDM)in advante ofthe measurement of blood glucose.Methods We used systematically TaqMan LowDensity Array followed by individual quantitativereverse transcription polymerase chain reactionassays to screen miRNAs in serum which collectedat 16-19 gestational weeks.Logistic regression wasused to estimate the associations between miRNAexpression levels and GDM risk.Results Two miRNAs(miR一29a and miR.222)were identified and consistently validated aseffcient predictors.Taken together.womgn withhigh serum mRNA expression levels hadsignificantly decreased risks of developing GDM
