Profile of Serum Pregnancy-associated Plasma Protein A after Heparins Administration
Pregnancy-associated plasma protein A(PAPP-A)has been suggested as a useful marker of unstable atherosclerosis and itS complications.Low molecular weight heparin(LMWH)and heparin are commonly used in these cases.However，the effects of heparins on serum PAPP-A concentrations are still not fully understood.We desired to investigate the time profile of effects of heparins administration on serum PAPP-A concentratiORS for further evaluation of PAPP-A in the following study and clinical practice.Forty cases with cerebrovascular disease were enrolled from the Department ofNeurology at Qilu hospital between Nov 2009 and May 2010 in this study.We collected the blood samples before and after drug used from them,and all cases were divided into four groups：In group A，for 10 ischemic stroke patients receiving subcutaneous LMWH anticoagulation twice daily，blood samples were collected before LMWH iniection.
