　　The high indence of stroks in youngchdren is assoaated with pennatally acquiared virus infections, including herpesviNses, CMV and their combination, that requires screening at the eartly stages of gestation.Basic therapy of children with stroke should include Cerebrolysin during acute period and period of rehabilitation in order to stlmulate the mechanisms of neurogenests, neuroplasticity. that implies offective nevroprotection. To prevent hemorrhagic stroke in young children it is necessary to monitor mothers”s systemic hypertension.
