白蚁诱饵：一种减少有毒化学品对市内环境释放量的新技术
Pesticides will continue to act as a two edged sword for human population. In one hand, it allowshigh food production, on the other hand posing substantial risks to environment and human health. The control ofhuman and livestock disease vectors is similarly characterized by heavy dependence on broad-spectrum andpersistent pesticides. In addition, increased urbanization has allowed pest outbreaks in cities around the world,making the use of insecticides a necessity. Consequently the chance of mass human exposure to insecticides hasbecome much easier in recent years. This paper makes an effort to elucidate a novel method by which toxic load of synthetic insecticides can be cut down in the urban environment. This paper picks up the termite management in urban building and structures as an example to explain this issue.
