Research on ecological composite wall based on failure mode
To improve the seismic performance of ecological composite wall，a group of ecological composite walls with different filledmaterials base on the pre-experimental study is tested under horizontal reciprocating load with low period in this paper. The wall”s failuremodes and failure mechanism are discussed mainly；The judging criteria of failure modes for the wall has been proposed and verified bythe steel strain of different parts of the wall that happened different failure modes. The non-linear numerical analysis and experimental results show that the judging criteria of failure modes for ecological composite wall proposed in this paper has some guiding significance to the wall for theoretical research on the failure mode to the best.
