A novel solar tracking system design based on linear switched reluctance motor
A novel solar tracking scheme which adopts a Linear Switched Reluctance Motor(LSRM)as its servo actuator,is proposed in this paper.Three control schemes are designed for different requirements.The solar tracking system is divided into all electromagnetic subsystem and a mechanical subsystem.Which are corresponding to the electromagnetic behaviors and the mechanical movement,respectively.The system controller has a cascaded structure and two different controllers are designed for the two subsystems.Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the modeling and the control scheme.
