Enhanced Oil recovery study at high water cut stage based on time-variant reservoir model

Long term water flooding would result in the variation of reservoir characteristics.The time-variant model is established based on the study of sedimentary facies, microtectonics, log well analysis and flow unit as the physical property of the reservoir varies from different development stage. At the same time, high permeability zone is studied and applied to the reservoir model. By means of time-variant reservoir numerical simulation, the potential advantages of remaining oil and water distribution is presented of ShuangHe Oilfield IV1-3.Then the polymer flooding adjustment program is implemented which successfully guiding polymer flooding of the reservoir.
